MARECEK / MARS FAMILY

We're back home. Mae has been contraction-free for 36 hours. That was a close one. If you're ever offered several hundred mL of Magnesium Sulfate (or "mag", as it's known on the street) I advise you not to take it, unless of course you're having pre-term labor. I looked like a miserable experience from my perspective, and Mae is currently asleep, so she can't confirm right now, but I think that from her perspective it was miserable too.

She's on strict bed rest and only allowed to get up to go to the bathroom. It took her about five minutes of being home to realize the many glorious and wonderful things that can be accomplished on her way to the bathroom. Apparently doing the dishes and emailing count as activities that can be done on the way. I don't think this is what the doctor intended, so I've had to put my foot down. Let's see how long that lasts.

That's it for now, more later.
