There was quite a drama last night, but everything is OK now. Mazlo had a very bloody diaper and no stool, so after calling the doctor we went in to Children's Hospital. It was very scary, but after all the tests (CBC, X-ray-- which again ruled out NEC) I feel much better. The nurse saw a sore in his bottom that may be causing all the recent trouble. There's nothing to be done, but let it heal. So, it was a rough night and he's a little cranky today, but knowing what's going on really helps (us, if not him). On a side note, all the nurses commented on how handsome he is. He is handsome.
