You make the call!

There is an exciting new development in the twins saga. The OB/GYN who did the C-section called today and said that there were actually two placentas fused together (i.e fused, dichorionic) in the uterus. During all the ultrasounds they always thought it was only one placenta. That means the boys may not be identical! All monochorionic twins are identical, and all fraternal twins are dichorionic, but about 30% of monozygotic (identical) twins are dichorionic. So if they were monochorionic we'd know for sure, but now they could be just equally handsome fraternal twins. Them being fraternal twins could explain a few mysteries, like why Mazzy is the only one with a milk allergy, or why Carver looks big enough to eat Mazlo. However, they are very similar looking (all the NICU nurses thought they were identical) and they have the same blood type.

Here's the user participation part of the program. In the comments section, put in your vote of identical vs. fraternal, and secondly, tell us if we should pay $195 to get the boys' DNA tested. You make the call!
